In reply to the discussion: Joyce Vance on Trump supporters now taking their Trump signs down [View all]ShazzieB
(23,093 posts)48. I don't know what they could use for such a campaaign.
The "controversy" about the emails had been harped on in the media and by Trump for a long time before Comey pulled his coup de grâce. A certain segment of the voters were already convinced by months of prior conditioning that "her emails" were a serious issue. His actions simply reinforced those beliefs. I doubt he convinced anyone who wasn't pretty much convinced already.
With Harris-Walz, it's hard to imagine some brand new issue (because that's what it would have to be) suddenly popping up at this late date and having that kind of an impact. I'm worried about a lot of things concerning this election, but that one is very low on the list.

No, as far as I am concerned, the GOP created trump, owns trump, and will go down with trump.

I'm not speaking of a Comey type hit on Harris. I was referring to the media giving a shit about a real criminal.

Here's one example, via tweet, and a link for Greg Sargent's TNR podcast about this:

There's a house a bit down the road from me, that used to be huge Bush supporters.
