Judges Merchan dnd Chutkan have stepped lightly in their rulings since SCOTUS voted for immunity. To me they seem wary. No one know where SCOTUS is headed exactly.

So thwarting their game until after the election is good. And Trump cant run around screaming how unfair the sentence because there is none for now.
