Prior to Dobbs, there was a saying that you could take a "private" poll in any average church on Sunday morning and more than 50% would be for legal abortion and support RvW. There has been this complete revision of history by the media and the RW since Dobbs.

I've said this before: Most people reject the notion that ANY level of government has legitimate jurisdiction over a woman's womb unless there is a viable child in there. I've never understood why anyone believes government should have such a power, and I have never heard a convincing argument as to why they should. Any argument against abortion comes down to a religious one(soul at conception argument) and therefore imposing such a belief violates the First Amendment.
