that I saw he was "never in any danger". OK. But now the media is breathlessly reporting the FBI calling this an assassination attempt. So either some clown fired off some rounds way far away and was not even close to the Orange Ruski or he was close enough to warrant what the FBI is calling it.

It reminds me of what went down during the GQP convention in Milwaukee. Some homeless guys got into with each other about 2 miles away from the "security zone" but the media ran with "a violent incident happened near the convention". To make matters more absurd it happened in a location where some "bicycle patrol" guys from out of state who were doing security happened to also be staging across the street in a park area. One of them apparently went over and got involved and so it became "convention security involved in quelling a violent attack".

It also reminds me that while the media breathlessly focuses on this they haven't been bothered in the least to follow up or show any ongoing concern about the pipe bombs in DC circa 1/6.
