he's not doing much if anything to help his chances. is it because he has some knowledge that we don't, that the SC will make him the winner no matter what happens in the election? Or is it because his decompensation and dementia are advancing so rapidly that he is only safe among his cult? He showed up for the debate looking, acting and speaking in a deranged manner.

i read somewhere a theory that the republicans' plan is to install him in the WH just long enough to Article 25 him out and install Vance, who will then implement Project 25 and turn the USA into a "christian" theocratic dystopia.

it's still scary. The SC gave absolute immunity. Women lost the right of autonomy over their own bodies. that SC still sits.

I believe Kamala will win. I am hoping for a landslide big enough to remove any reasonable doubt about who won. It won't stop TCFSF from claiming that he did win, nor will it stop his most avid cultists from believing it, but it should preserve democracy for at least the next 4 years.

At 69 I've watched history play out in ways I could never have imagined. I could imagine some shit going down but invariably, especially since TCFSF went down that escalator, it was worse than I had imagined. I guess I never believed that so many people could be so stupid, brainwashed, greedy, cynical, and power hungry that they would be willing to concede power to such a severely damaged, depraved, lawless psychopath.
