I think that you are very right on all counts. Especially about the Justice Department. We need to get ahead of this issue before Election Day. The DOJ and other entities need to prevent as much of this as possible, as you say. I kind of want Joe Biden to come out on this issue. The last thing that he does as President should be the lawful and peaceful transfer of power over to Kamala Harris. Since the Supreme Court has given the President Imperial Power, Joe should use some of that power to ensure that our elections are fair and lawful.

And the DOJ should be working independently on this issue, as you suggest. Marc Elias and his team should not be the only ones working on this. We do need the DOJ and the Federal Government working with the States and the Localities to make sure that Trump and his MAGA criminals don't try to destroy the election process and ruin our democracy.
