She has to work her way through the party system in the House which is pretty grueling and takes years. She could run for Senate at some point, sure, but running statewide is quite different than running in a safe district. I’m sure Shumer has someone in mind to take his place should he retire before he passes on and I’m not sure it’s her. It’s probably not at this point.

She’s young so she has time to make these things happen but the real sticking point is making sure Piss Wig doesn’t win THIS year. Otherwise I’m not sure any of this matters.

I don’t think any Republican can be allowed to take office any time soon. They all have the same goal in mind.
