I’m in Sarasota and we got off light this time. My daughter is in Durham, NC, though—nowhere near the coast but somehow untouched in her RV on a mountain. (Phew!)

I don’t think coastal states are going to be alone in this crap, though I am pretty pissed off that we have another storm generating where Helene started and expected to follow the same damned path this week—as did the last three storms before that!
