to take it off the ballot.

The next best thing they could do was use their political power to gum up the works and they had control over the financial impact language. They used that little bit of power to fill the amendment's financial impact statement with bullshit.

The petitioners for the amendment sued to remove that clearly bias language, but lost so the Republican language stayed on the ballot. What is to be expected when your courts are stacked with rank partisan Republicans?
