4. Me, too. Everyone in NY & NJ knew what a bilious, ego-driven bully he was.

I remember Jimmy Breslin and Mike Lupica in the NY papers (but not the Post) just tearing him up for being the schmuck from Queens. Then tearing into the Post for printing his bull squat just to get attention.

(My favorite? When less than a year after Princess Diane’ death he told the Post he could have “done her.” And the Post put it on the front page! I’m surprised the British ever let him in the count after that.)

As I told people then and now - “Next time - believe us when we tell you he’s a hose-bag!!”
