3. He's not going anywhere.

There's no reason for him to leave. Even if he's convicted, it'll likely take years for the appeals to happen and it's highly unlikely he'll be held in custody pending trial in any case.

The only place I ever see stuff like this is DU and the occasional random blog. It's a pipe dream.
