I'd bet almost anything SS has contingency plans for any sign of an attempt by tfg to leave. Remember, he's a convicted felon, free on parole before sentencing, so his travel is formally restricted . SS works closely with law enforcement and is responsible for their ward's travel plans. He can't take off without their approval, and if there is any doubt, SS will seek confirmation all the way up the chain of command to the WH.
