7. What is horrifying is the fact that the kid kept waking up

and the hospital totally denied that he was still alive until apparently one doctor finally put a halt to the surgery. One of the articles I read indicated that, at some point, the kid actually said a few words.

Stuff like that makes people wonder if a doctor/hospital will be in such a rush to harvest organs that they won't actually wait for a patient to die first. If you can' t trust the system to act correctly then they will start to have problems finding willing organ donors.
