In reply to the discussion: Seriously, what are you going to do if Trump wins? [View all]Native
(7,289 posts)170. I'm sure he's got some convoluted deal in his mind that he thinks he can pull off
Let's say he's given a prison sentence in November, but, God forbid, he's won the election. You pardon me, and I'll pardon Hunter. I'm sure his addled mind hasn't even considered the fact that Biden could pardon his own son. Or perhaps he's thinking Biden will come to his rescue if he loses and is faced with a prison sentence because he has spoken out about Hunter not deserving prosecution. I just know that he doesn't cut anyone slack or even think about it much less mention it unless there's something he thinks he can gain from it.

I'm going to turn into a Valium addict. It's the only drug I can see getting addicted to.

No one is going to "25th him" since that would take a majority of the cabinet he appoints.

He's not worrying about a pardon unless and until he actually is ordered to serve time

Oh I definitely think it's on his mind and he's worried. I mean he's already talking about possibly pardoning Hunter.

How would it be beneficial to him? Maybe he thinks it would be but more likely just another lie.

He knows he's not going to be sent to prison in November. Even if he's sentenced it will be stayed while its on appeal.

Last time he was certainly less dangerous, resentful, and prepared to do harm than he is now.
