34. Honestly, I think they fear a powerful woman
Sat Oct 26, 2024, 01:09 PM
Oct 2024

Many years ago, I had my first of many female managers. One of the guys who I worked with felt threatened by her, I found it refreshing. She moved on and up in the company, but it stuck with me how many didn’t want a woman in charge.

More recently, I needed a new doctor as my previous doctor retired, a female doctor took over his practice, but not his patients. When I scheduled an appointment, the office called me and asked me if I had a problem with a woman as my doctor. All I care is that my doctor is knowledgeable and compassionate.

I don’t get the prejudice many have.
