I'm repeating myself with other comments I've made on this, but I'm not seeing the outrage response that I was worried I might see. I knew the media would cover Biden's comments over everything else--and they didn't "disappoint"-- but it doesn't seem to be getting much traction.

I think people are a) outrage fatigued; b) have seen far viler comments from Trump about Democrats and at literally every rally or press conference; and c) realize Kamala is running for President and not Biden.

Biden has, wisely, kept his distance from Kamala during the campaign to not overshadow her. He is being supportive, of course, but is making sure she gets to run her own campaign and show she has what it takes to stand on her own. Because of that distance, I think Biden's remarks aren't being as closely associated with Kamala as Trump's campaign had hoped.
