It takes so long to count how many millions of people's votes?
I understand that we want the transparency and that everybody needs to be able to see the votes actually being counted but watching how the sausage is made is not always a good thing. I think it tends to lead people especially those that are less educated or informed to get conspiratorial.

Then again, if we didn't see all of this unfolding before our eyes would we believe it?

Democracy is a wonderful idea and concept, it's just so hard to implement in a large scale. And then you add in the disinformation from other places and social media and all the other bullshit that we have to deal with today that they didn't have to deal with 200 years ago.. and it's going to look like a clusterfuck.

I personally agree with you though I don't think things are going to be actually called until a couple of days. And all of us running around here with our hair on fire because of what's going on tonight is no different than Trump saying at midnight eastern time that he won. Don't give them the satisfaction!
