Anti-Black racism is rampant in Miami-Dade county, for example. As a white guy, I'm on the receiving end of all kinds of snide whispered "jokes" that I have to shut down. I have heard white and latino men say the most disgusting shit you can imagine. I should wear a wire 24/7 it would be eye-opening, but nobody would want to listen to it.
People are people, and people suck.
Nobody wants to face the reality that we are a deeply sexist, racist country. Most men are sexist, and most white and latino people are racist. The end.

I honestly don't think he could have taken the wear & tear even if he didn't try such a horrendous schedule as Harris.
