Mr. Obama did no such thing. His statement, as well as that of other former Presidents and leaders of the nation was made out of DIPLOMACY. He spoke on behalf of a NATION as it's former leader, respecting the process of power transition. Every past President was respectful enough to do it except 45. If a president can only show common decency for those who support his beliefs, he should never run for office. We must remember what Ms Harris said, "I will fight for you even if you don't vote for me." Echoing President Biden's stance that you can't call yourself an American only when your side wins."

It is not about "standing up to" anyone, as much as it is about continuing to stand AGAINST their ideologies and standing up for YOURSELF.
