He responded that they are still counting votes, especially on the West Coast, especially in California. They are notoriously slow about counting votes in that state, Thom said. That's why there are still several House races there not called. So, long story short, we don't know yet how many votes were cast in this election. I remember in 2020 in Pennsylvania they called that state for Biden on Saturday, four days after the election, and that was what put him over the top. I wish that could still happen this year.
