to allow the rest of red don's reprehensible nominees to slide in. Or get recess appointments without GQPee pushback.

Heard this on MSNBC last night (sorry, can't remember who said it)--the sh*tshow surrounding Gaetz and the "courage" of some GQPee senators in putting the kibosh on his nomination will exhaust their will to oppose red don's collection of freaks, so there will be no energy or will to oppose any more.

Gaetz might well be the sacrificial lamb. Plus he needed to resign anyway because of the impending release of the report.
