I do think we need to ask WHY.
Because the thing that's utterly freaking me out about this is that the perp was the father of one of the kids in the class. Are we going to frisk every parent who goes to a school concert or play? How do you defend against something like this?
Gun control sounds okay at first glance, but changing the law won't take guns off the streets, nor can it protect school children against this type of a will to destroy your own child and the children of others. Little kids are so utterly defenseless.
