58. Shipping lanes

the US Navy has been preparing since 2018 to control the Arctic shipping lanes. They have been preparing for climate change that will open the shipping lanes. The US has a base in Greenland which is strategically located to the opening of the lanes. Russia has about 50 bases in other locations.
