Much like Lawrence O’Donnell is now. Aaron had that “from the attic” type set similar to early Letterman. It was the smart kids kind of thing.

I remember that Aaron got fired because he didn’t leave some celebrity pro-am golf tournament to be on air during some sort of BREAKING NEWS event. The real reason, I think, was that he dared to question the reasons given for invading Iraq. Wesley Clarke was a regular guest who flat out called it - this a very bad idea.

I like Brown a lot.
