Start planning now.

Get your passport.

Decide where you want to go.

Figure out the logistics.

Figure out the finances.

Figure out employment in a foreign country (or retirement in a foreign country if you have the means to retire).

Start learning a foreign language if necessary.

Leaving is the only thing that you can control.

You can't control what politicians will do.

You can't control what SCOTUS will do.

You can't control what fellow American citizens will do.

But you can control what you do (at least for now).
