Biden hit pieces -- as if things aren't bad enough

39. There are plenty of people left in America who have nice things to say about Biden.

I didn't think he should drop out and was disheartened by it. I was also disheartened by the treatment he got at the debate, sandbagged out of the gate with an out-of-context talking point. Jake Tapper knows better and, if he is an actual journalist, as he claims, he should also have known that Biden had just finished negotiating a very tricky hostages release of five hostage. That should have been mentioned off the top. But assholes like Jake Tapper have decided "debates" are for gotcha moments, not discussions about serious policy issues.

Beyond that, if the press had "concerns" (I use the term loosely here) about Biden's age and insisted on pounding that narrative into the ground, then why weren't they showing equal concern about Trump's age and diminishing capacity? Why didn't they try to trip him up with gotcha moments? Why didn't Jake Tapper ask him about his miserable record as President and being impeached twice? Why didn't the felony convictions come up?

Why are elections won and lost on personality, not policy?
