But it'll have to be big enough! I use raised beds, and I have room enough for 11 in my fenced garden along with six smaller ones outside of the garden area. The dogs keep the deer away; haven't seen any in my yard for years (whole property is fenced, and the garden has its own deer fence just in case.)
I did add 10 chick last spring, always a hoot to raise them! I went with olive eggers for about half of those 10, and they are the only ones that took a break this winter on egg laying. The other 5 are still laying. Lovely green eggs on the olive eggers but I may not go with them again. I love their fluffy cheeks though.
