People have mentioned some other good ideas in this thread to help prepare as well.
People are going to need food no matter what.
Better to get as much as you can now just in case food prices become almost unsustainable.
I realize our circumstances are different and we can't all prepare the same way and to the same extent.
We can still push back against the oligarchy by becoming more frugal regarding the innumerable non-essential items.
