(8,637 posts)17. Fascists almost always involved their countries in aggressive expansionary wars
which end up being disastrous. That's the model, really.
Only Franco avoided it, probably because of the vicious civil war through which he came to power, and partly because Spain had flushed itself of most imperial ambitions.
