My IRA is heavily invested in the US economy & I need it to be able to retire someday. I'm getting old & if our economy tanks now & I can't find good investment opportunities (yes, I'm always looking) I might never be able to retire & keep a roof over my head. I'm afraid Trump will crash our economy all by himself, I'm not going to help him do it & then end up having to work until the day I drop dead.
If folks are spending money on unnecessary things & want to do this, they certainly can, especially if they're giving money to Trump-supporting businesses. I totally support boycotting businesses that support a right-wing agenda, I've been doing that for decades, but punishing all businesses, as this seems to imply? Sorry, but no.
