Lawrence O'Donnell's show last night was the best journalism [View all]
I have seen on cable or broadcast news since the election. And you don't have to take my word for it. His first guest, Norm Ornstein, who many of you are familiar with, complimented Lawrence after his excellent introduction. He said that it was the best he had ever heard.
If you get a chance, watch it online. I won't try to summarize it here, except to say that it was about what is happening at Treasury, and downplayed the whole tariff show yesterday as a distraction.
I find that journalistically Lawrence and his staff are head and shoulders above other programs. They never follow the narrative of the rest of the press and chart their own course. They drill down on what is really important from the days' events.
That is so important right now when the zone is being flooded with BS every second of every day.
Oh, and he will continue to receive my support for calling out the white house press corps almost daily on their obvious and craven double standard!
