My job is tied to Fed funding (DOE). We have some pretty hardcore MAGA at work and Friday was the first mention of this. They just don’t get the connection. Without going into details - their support of Trump makes absolutely no sense at all.

We do have a hard rule about discussing politics at work which I appreciate. This isn’t politics, this is our jobs.

These are the same people poo pooing COVID (as told to) in February 2020. I said every loudly “This is going to be WAY worse than a lot of people are taking this”. I didn’t want to make it directly at them, but it was. My wife was tracking numbers and her projections were dead on from the beginning and all the way through.
