1. They are indoctrinated and don't understand it.

They have been conditioned with constant claims (by Donvict) of 'witch hunt', 'fake news', and everything done by the 'left' as 'disgusting'. So, whatever they hear that claims their leader is a fraud, rapist, traitor, felon, etc. is chalked up to hate and/or envy by the left.
Add to that the sources for information they use (such as Fox so-called News) never tells them anything that would rightfully credit Dem policies, people, and instead criticizes them if they are mentioned at all. Much real news isn't even covered.
Basically, traitor 47 voters are ill-equipped to understand current events, history, and civics. Add to that their go-team group think, and a healthy dash of bigotry and resentment.
