6. I was just looking at cruise line websites for ships that sail out of Galveston.

Carnival and MCS still have references to the Gulf of Mexico. Interestingly, Royal Caribbean looks like it’s trying to thread the needle by not using any name. The ships depart from the Port of Galveston and when you click on the link to see a map, it draws a route across a large body of water that has no name at all.
