3. Bird flu means huge flocks of chickens are being killed off to slow or stop the spread of disease...

…. also means fewer eggs. Amazing how that is not spelled out in the news.

Hubby went out to El Pollo Loco to pick up some of their grilled chicken this evening, and prices had just soared. Makes me wonder how much the rotisserie chickens over at Costco will cost — they may be a loss leader for the store, but there are limits.
