... but the public will know.
For example, they may try to jigger unemployment stats, but there are private companies like ADP who also track it, and the public will know if larger numbers of their family and friends and neighbors are unemployed than usual.
Further, if Democrats and progressives meme the hell out of it, propaganda and fake news can be countered.
FACET counter-propaganda:
* Fast (quick response),
* Accurate (true, unassailable),
* Clear (instantly digested),
* Everywhere (abundant, plentiful),
* Targeted (at audience of original propaganda)
