In reply to the discussion: LEADER JEFFRIES STATEMENT ON ANTISEMITIC PROTESTS IN BOROUGH PARK [View all]Eko
(9,993 posts)1. Adding some more info.
"The anti-Israel organizers said they were protesting against an Israeli real estate event in the area, accusing organizers of marketing land in the West Bank. Similar events have sparked several heated protests in the region since the start of the Israel-Hamas war. Tuesdays event was reportedly canceled due to safety concerns."
There are also reports that Pro-Israel supporters yelled "Trump owns Gaza!"
Personally I am against the Israeli Government and Hamas. Both sides have and are continuing to do horrific things and deserve our condemnation, not our support. I understand that people on here may not like my opinion and I offer my apologies to any offense in advance but none for my opinion.

The real estate group holding the expo was not offering holdings in disputed territories.

What's your point? The antisemitism was disgusting even if Pal-Awda was mistaken about the event.

If it doesn't matter that they are selling stolen land then why did you try to point out that they weren't doing it?

If the truth can be known, we may be surprised to know exactly who these people are. Why at this time?
