Jobs such as yours are specialized. There are not that many of you around to be able to just pick and choose, especially after the bosses have been repeatedly documented as being little shits. They would not be able to keep up if they constantly treat their employees like crap because they soon won't have employees. If you want an example, go check out a Panera these days. They are all understaffed and run by people who normally would not be in a management role, but the location is desperate. Almost all of the ones here in the Twin Cities are in such straits.

Plus, as I have often said, if you would get the entire staff to threaten to quit at the same time, they would have to fold, or close. We have that power. There is little the oligarchs can do about it. Just stop supporting them. You have the means to survive without that job, They do not have the means to survive without workers. The best way to enlighten them is to show your employer you mean business. Of course, this never happens because there are some people who are just too programmed to understand that the world will not end if you lose your job.
