but it's still a worry. Mine's due in on the 14th of each month. I get a notice 3-5 days earlier that it's "pending"... what they tells me is the bank is holding onto my money until the last possible moment for that puny little bit of interest. 'Course, if you count all of this is happening to, it doesn't end up being such a puny amount! But I tell you, until that check is actually deposited in my account and active to draw on, I don't trust it.

You may be right about trump. I think he's realizing the Heritage and other main R's have gotten him already boxed into corners with their grandiose 2025 plans. But musk is doing this... and I wouldn't put it past him to do something like kick off whole groups of SS recipients. In fact, I'm looking for him to do just that to us women at some point. My only hope is that we've gotten him out of government by then... and maybe even shipped back to SA, from whence he came. God, can you imagine being his parents? Are they as arrogant and cruel as he is? He sure had to learn it from someplace. But I know my Mom and Dad would be totally ashamed if I even acted a little like he struts around acting, let alone what he's doing to hurt people.

No one thought it would ever be possible to fire civil servants en masse like musk does. Like I said, trump may back down a little, but not musk. He truly is Hitler 2.0. Or... as I like to say... he and trump are Gog and Magog.
