Trump thrives in chaos and dysfunction; in this case Musk’s authority absent authority.

Trump thinks he's being 'clever,' he's not.

We saw this during Trump’s first term, where almost every official was ‘acting’ without Senate confirmation.

It’s Trump ridiculous, wrongheaded way of trying to make the executive branch function like a private company – Trump’s private company.
