14. I was hearing voices pretty bad my last trip to the psych ward.

The voices I hear are all pretty harmless.

My mind went a little sideways during adolescence and it took me about ten years to claw it back, mostly by ignoring all the voices... including my own. Between quitting high school and finally graduating from college I was a rolling catastrophe. Fortunately the local police and campus police found me more of an amusing diversion from their usual sordid duties than any danger to myself or others. Unfortunately I was left with some PTSD from those years.

At first I thought EVERYBODY heard voices, and that you all were just better at dealing with it. Maybe in my early twenties I started to figure out that was not the case.

My rationality is hard won. I take great comfort in the sciences, math, and computer programming.

Meds are helpful but I haven't always been good about taking them.

I suppose I am a very dangerous person when I don't know what I'm doing. It says so right in my profile here.
