In reply to the discussion: Cya later everyone [View all]obviously get to keep your guns as do all of the other 300 million guns get to be kept but WE also get to scream loudly about sensible controls on gun ownership. Why shouldn't a gun owner have to prove their competency before being allowed to own such a serious device? Why shouldn't they have to prove their skill in shooting, housing, handling and cleaning their weapon? If guns are found unlocked in the presence of children why shouldn't gun owners be charged with neglect?
