(13,837 posts)It might make some sense to the common senseless MAGAs of whom many still think dismantling our government means they will have more freedom. They somehow believe that by destroying our carefully assembled government bureaucracy we will stop funding wars, sending aid, "paying people who do nothing", kick out all the criminals (brown), get black people back under the thumb working for their hand-outs, and restore prayer in schools, speak English, etc.. They twist that all up to come up with the conclusion that we'll have more money--a surplus perhaps. Life would be better in 'Merica'.
As white Christians they would all live in a better country "under God" that God-sent Trump would make possible.
No more giving away free stuff, like healthcare, housing, opportunities, and food assistance to those who don't deserve it and shouldn't be part of their dream 'Merica'.
One by one they are finding out what they have broken as it shatters their above delusion, so maybe the slogan would resonate.
Not to the 1% in charge, though.
