Putin was counting on Crumb The 1st [View all]
to get this deal done so the Russian predicament could stop deteriorating both economically and militarily. Crumb failed even though the ugly display at the White House gave Putin something to use in the media. There were likely big rewards promised to Crumb The 1st for making a deal happen. When Zelensky wouldn't bite Crumb The 1st saw his "big reward" slipping away.
There is of course the psycho desire he displays to be given a Nobel Peace Prize that plays into this also. But his rage and outburst, while planned, was real and also obviously connected to the refusal of Zelensky to do the bidding of Crumb The 1st back during the 2020 election period.
So much of our media played into the idea of it all being a "big win" for Putin when in fact, beyond the propaganda value, there was nothing that was going to keep his soldiers from dying, his hardware from being destroyed or help the financial picture get better quickly.
The result for Putin was not some "good thing" because it has united European countries stronger than anything seen in many decades and has diminished the standing, power and influence of his lapdog Crumb The 1st. Hardly some "big win" like some in the media proclaimed.
Putin went for a home-run but he sent someone to the plate who is most likely to whiff once he even waddles to the plate.
