IF you sent the letter, I would probably add something like this: "Just saying, people are saying you would know, since you know everything."
I suspect that this will never see the light of day, because if confronted I would not admit to anything criminal and would demand a jury trial - and can you imagine the national embarrassment. And since the DOJ represents the President, you have the right to request Trump be at your trial and answer the question.
And finally, as a citizen - we have the right to ask questions of our governmental leaders.
P.S. Thinking that Trump gets a lot of letters saying all kinds of offensive things. And just because it might be considered offensive it does not rise to the level of a threat.
