These are the actions of a very few is always the case. So what? actions of a very few supported by the multitude, in many ways obvious and not so obvious.

I am reminded of a passage from the diary of a resistance leader in Berlin during WWII. One morning in 1945 they woke up to see Red Army tanks and soldiers in a nearby park. One of the resistance members knew Russian, so the two of them walked down to talk to the soldiers.

A dozen soldiers were sitting around a makeshift fire making tea.

"Hello. We are the anti-Nazi resistance."

The soldiers all looked up and there was a long moment of silence. Then they broke out in raucous laughter.

Finally one of the soldiers spoke up. "No, no. Excuse me miss, sorry, but we are the anti-Nazi resistance."
