but the sad thing is the location of where a good chunk if not more than 50% of the parts of Kentucky where bourbon plants are located in are in Democratic areas that didn't vote for Trump in a deep red State. Like certainly Louisville and I think Frankfort too. Will be interesting to see how this plays out. Will they blame Trump? Will they blame Canada? Or will they blame the Democratic Governor? Although I will point out it's unlikely Kentucky has a Democratic Governor 2 years from now. Maybe this will cause increased voter turnout in the Louisville Metro area in upcoming elections due to anger and even cause softer republican areas in Kentucky to flip.
