It takes courage to overcome fear. Thank you Congressman Green for having courage. We applaud you.
THOUGHTS ON FEAR: This is one that people struggle to imagine until it strikes them. We have an inherent fear of being ostracised from our social group. When we are successful, we fear that this will happen. The best answer that we can give comes from Marianne Williamson. Its inspiring:
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people wont feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

I didn't watch the speech. Can't stand to listen to the asshole, but I saw the clip.

Enjoyed watching him. Was he holding out a cane? Whatever, it makes a good clip.
