I'm a minority white guy, even in my own home.

I grew up in a community that was 99% white and there is no way in hell I'd ever go back to a place like that. I haven't lived in a majority white community for 40+ years.

It's all so senseless. My wild west white grandpa had a fit when my wife and I announced our engagement. In his family men didn't marry "Mexican girls," as he called her. He boycotted our wedding. To his credit he got over it, but maybe that's because my wife was better at math than he was, and probably smarter too, which is saying a lot because he was an aerospace engineer who worked on the Apollo Project and a pretty good writer too.
