5. Reminder - It's transactional

The Musk and Trump alliance is one of circumstance. It wasn't that long ago that Trump and Musk were taking shots at each other.

Remember that Trump is purely transactional. He sees value in Elon, the value being that Elon was able to spin up an insane propaganda machine by buying Twitter, and subsequently contributing to Trump winning the election by flooding the zone (thanks Bannon)

Trump's opinion on Musk in 2022:

These talking points are verbatim what left-of-center Musk haters like me are bringing up. Musk's entire operation is sucking on the government teet, and Trump knew that. But, Musk has more value now that he can command the media space. His underlings and the right-wing media sphere hear the marching orders loud and clear, and follow through. The real question is whether those underlings actually exist...(bots, foreign accounts, etc.)

I leave you with Musk's opinion on Trump, which is funny in a lot of ways.

"...don't make it so that Trump's only way to survive is to regain the Presidency."
What changed?

"Trump would be 82 at the end of term, which is too old to be chief executive of anything, let alone the USA"
Hilarous he would use the same talking point that Biden was blasted with, but again, what changed?
